Wrapping up Burke, you can see some of the smiling faces saying goodbye to our lovely cottage. It was a pleasant stay, Wildflower. We hope to see you again!
We then scooted off to Procotor to tackle the New Years Eve race and what a spectacular event. Music was blaring from the bottom. It was quite similar to what I imagine Schladming might be like. Anyway, We had quite a successful day - capping it was Sarah's third place overall! Congrats Sarah. Annie was just behind her, in fourth place and Katy putting herself in the top mix with an 8th place - skiing from bib 30. Carson also threw one in there with a 9th place. We will have a video coming along here shortly to give you all a flavor of the evening. Great event!
Great Goggles, John!
Following Proctor, the women headed over to Stratton for a 4-day Eastern Cup series. Some days, class got in the way but everyone got some races in. Highlights to Geordies two days of podiums - 1st and 3rd for the slaloms. Sarah claimed a 14th and Annie took 10th in the first day of slalom. Sarah kept up her high performance streak on slalom day 2 with a 12th place. We also had a number of top 10 runs in the races - Shannon, Jocelyn, Annie.
Hi Kristina!
Geordie Wins!
Geordie gets third!
Shannon, Kristina, Nikki and I took the cattle cart to find the van - great GS moves out there, Nikki!
Ed went with the boys to Killington - I don't think he took too many photos.... But I heard that the guys were skiing well and moving up so nice work over there... didn't find too much for stories on the trip....
But after some races, everyone is, of course - excited to get back to Jiminy for some training sessions! We have had doubles and triples this week gearing up for the best holiday season of the year... CARNIVAL SEASON. Its going to be exciting, folks! The teams are looking stacked. Will be fun to see what happens out there.
